Weird, yet wonderful; disturbing and yet appealing (IMO) sketches, poses and designs for intriuging, charming, yet powerful female characters and other magical beings. (And the average guys they meet.) Little surprises around each corner but no real hazards...
Just blocking out their colors. Long ago I had a teacher who wanted his students to make "cool" colors advance, and warm colors recede instead of the usual way. I'm experimenting with value to make it work. The trio faces a deadly threat, now that Autumn is here! Stay tuned.

Herman Bear is caught off guard by Louise in her perfectly polished skates. She just wanted to check him out as he wanders around the drive-in, without a car. No car, no service I guess. Quick, loose sketches, just trying to get an idea down. The head floating there on the right was a bad guy from a Herman Bear story I could never quite get to crystalize.
